Very soon, the Prime subscription will undergo a price increase in France. But in the meantime, Amazon’s famous streaming platform has just seen its new interface hatch on the Freebox side.

If Amazon Prime Video today offers a rather solid catalog, the platform unfortunately does not always serve as an example when it comes to addressing the question of interface and ergonomics. Especially when compared to its main competitors such as Netflix or Disney +. However, since last month, this is now only ancient history. Amazon has indeed taken the opportunity to completely rethink the interface of its service, to the delight of its subscribers.
Using the codes known from the main streaming offers, this interface now offers a side banner and displays the following sections: “Search”, “Home”, “Shop”, “Live TV” and “My space”. On the home page, the content is now grouped by theme and the platform scrolls through recent content before your eyes, for a more modern and more polished look than in the past.
But you will have understood it well, as it is freshly shared by our colleagues fromFreebox Universe, the good news of the day concerns the arrival of this redesign of the interface on Freebox Delta, Revolution, Pop and mini 4K. Note that this is being deployed on the side of Apple TV 4K.
For information, it would seem that the “Live TV” section is still absent from the Freebox Delta at present. Anyway, here’s a well-deserved facelift for Amzaon Prime Video. A makeover that will undeniably have been desired by the regulars of the service. But you know what they say: better late than never…
