(Boursier.com) — Amazon , the American e-commerce giant, still has work to do to satisfy the European Commission, according to the Financial Times. In an interview, an EC executive told the FT: “It may be the end of the competition case, but it’s not the end of the conversation. It’s still a work in progress. “We have to see that the remedy produces the expected results. Secondly, when the Digital Markets Act comes into force, we will have to see if the practices that are implemented by them are compliant”. The EU executive also told the FT that Amazon’s behavior towards DMA would be “closely monitored”.
