Amber Heard has renewed her massive allegations of violence against her ex-husband Johnny Depp in the US court.
Also on the second day of Amber Heard’s (36) statements in the witness stand, Johnny Depp’s (58) alleged drug dropouts and outbreaks of violence were the main topic. Again Heard chose drastic wordsto describe Depp’s conditions following alleged drug use. When she thought her ex-husband had reached his “absolute rock bottom,” he was “carried into the house like a baby” by one of his security guards.
As paradoxical as that may sound, it was precisely this moment that gave her hope. Because she felt that this rock bottom finally made him “really want to change.” However, it was a fatal misjudgment, as she found out a little later.
Threatened with a shattered bottle?
During the much-discussed trip to Australia, she quickly learned first-hand that things had gotten much worse, not better. When he supposedly drank too much there one evening, an argument between the two allegedly escalated so much that he is said to have held a broken bottle to her neck. “He said he would slit my face open,” Heard testified. In a subsequent scuffle, her nightgown was torn, she was completely naked and in a panic she stood in front of Depp.
What scared her the most about the situation was the fact that Depp stood there with his eyes completely blank and stepped away. “He just wasn’t there,” Heard said through tears. A particularly terrible moment then happened. According to her statement, Depp took one of the bottles and forcibly inserted it “and over and over again into me”.

Johnny Depp has sued Amber Heard for $50 million (€46 million) over a 2018 post she published in the Washington Post. In it, she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. She did not mention her ex-husband by name. Depp claims the post nonetheless ruined his career, damaged his reputation and cost him a lot of money as a result. Heard is said to have filed a $100 million counterclaim against her ex, according to Variety.
