Amber Heard surprisingly posted a photo for her birthday. After the trial against Johnny Depp, she largely withdrew.
Amber Heard (38) toasts herself. The actress celebrated her 38th birthday on Monday (April 22) and spoke up after a long radio silence back on Instagram. “A birthday is made for champagne,” she captioned a snapshot of herself enjoying a glass of champagne in a wine cellar.
Withdrawal after trial against Johnny Depp
Heard largely withdrew from the public eye after the sensational trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp (60). The last photo on her social media accounts was from January. At the time, she thanked everyone for the support for her role in the film “Aquaman: Lost Kingdom.” Before that, she hadn’t shared any content for over six months.
Since the libel trial, the actress has been living a life away from the spotlight in Spain. Heard and her three-year-old daughter Oonagh have found a new home in Madrid. Paparazzi keep catching her on various outings with her child.
Heard and Depp made serious accusations against each other in court in spring 2022. He had sued her for defamation. Heard was supposed to pay more than ten million US dollars in damages, and he in turn paid her two million. They later agreed to a settlement.
