Since the start of her trial against Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has been in turmoil. So much so that her acting career seems to suffer from this dismal affair. Thus, while she has an important role in Aquaman 2, which will be released in theaters in May 2023, the latter was informed that several of her scenes were going to be cut during editing. According to recent statements from her agent, the official version is that Amber Heard “lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa”, who embodies the role of Aquaman.
But Jessica Kovacevic, his agent, is not convinced by this explanation. For her, this choice was made because of the heated trial that the 36-year-old actress is going through against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. As a reminder, the latter filed a complaint for defamation against Amber Heard in March 2019 because of domestic violence suffered. Speaking of Heard’s success after Aquaman, Kovacevic said she thinks the actress’ career hasn’t taken off as much as Momoa’s.

The latter went on to explain why, in her opinion, Amber Heard has hardly been contacted to play future roles since the start of the trial, when this should not influence. “In my experience, your career takes a turn after starring in a movie like Aquaman. It was very well received by critics at the time, everyone was happy with his performance, there was no problem. To have a complete decline since the Johnny Depp accusations is the only logical conclusion I draw.”. Still according to her agent, Amber Heard would have lost a role in a film produced by Amazon. It remains to be seen whether the actress will be in the spotlight again once the trial is over.
