  • The first images of the upcoming RX 7900 are said to have appeared on Twitter.
  • Compared to the RX 6900 XT, the new graphics card should be longer.
  • It is not known whether this is the final product.

Some time ago AMD already presented the next generation of graphics cards, but now the first pictures of the RX 7900 are said to have appeared.

On Twitter, the user “@9550pro” shows pictures of two graphics cards. One is the current high-end graphics card RX 6900 XT. The other is said to be the upcoming RX 7900, as Videocardz reports.

As the pictures show, the RX 7900 could be a bit bigger than the RX 6900 XT, which is three slots high and just under 27 cm long. The new graphics card may therefore reach a length of 30 cm.

A red circuit board can also be seen in the picture. It is currently not known whether this really belongs to the end product or whether AMD is still changing the color.

The RX 7900 has not yet received a release date. However, the graphics card should appear in December 2022. Nvidia, on the other hand, has already released the new graphics card generation and we’ll tell you where you can buy the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080.
