Highly anticipated, the next range of processors
AMD should therefore have overclocking functions, at least via Hydra.

In July 2021, the Hydra Tuning Utility software for AMD Ryzen CPUs was announced. It came as a replacement for the Clock Tuner for Ryzen and was to singularly simplify the optimization of the brand’s processors.

Curve Tuner and Curve Optimizer

We learn today that this Hydra software will always be able to provide its little care to future Ryzen processors. The information comes to us directly from the author of the software, Yuri Bubliy.

As you probably know, AMD actually intends to distribute its new CPUs based on Zen 4 architecture – the famous Ryzen 7000 series – before the end of the year. We don’t know much about this launch yet, but the software follow-up will be important.

The support of these processors by Hydra is therefore good news, especially for expert users who will be able to take advantage of the next advances in the software. Yuri Bubliy clarifies that he is working on refining the Curve Tuner and Curve Optimizer to get the most out of Ryzen 7000 processors and that a fully automated mode is planned.

Note, however, that Yuri Bubliy is based in Kharkiv, a city in eastern Ukraine currently under attack by the Russian army. He explains that progress has been slower on the software in recent weeks. That he manages to progress in these conditions is already remarkable.
