The new generation of processors EPYC could move the lines a little more in the world of data centers.

After an event dedicated to PCs in a more general way, and while its gaming show is expected for next week, AMD is already arming a third cartridge.

Together we advance », part 3

At the end of August, AMD organized the event ” together we advance_PCs “, which can be translated as ” together we advance PCs “. It was then a question of presenting the new desktop processors.

We were thus able to discover, in preview, the Ryzen 7000s that we subsequently had in our hands for the tests of the 7950X, 7900X, 7700X and, most recently, 7600X models.

On November 3, AMD therefore planned to do it again with the “ together we advance_gaming “, resulting in ” together we advance the video game and which will focus on RDNA 3 graphics cards.

EPYC Genoa and EPYC Bergamo

Rather than resting, AMD will organize practically immediately after, the third stage of its fall appointments with the show ” together we advance_data centers which will focus on data centers.

If it is already announcing it on Twitter, AMD does not further detail the content of its event, although speaking of data centers, the American manufacturer seems to be clearly leaning towards its EPYC range.

A range that AMD intends to develop with two new models designated by the code names Genoa and Bergamo. Appointment is therefore made on November 10 at 7 p.m., French time, to discover undoubtedly at least the first of these two processors.
