Great triumph for BTS
BTS celebrate at the 2021 American Music Awards.

The American Music Awards 2021 took place in Los Angeles. Above all, the members of BTS were allowed to celebrate.
BTS are the “Artist of the Year”. The band from South Korea was awarded the most important trophy of the evening at the American Music Awards on Sunday. In total, the artists won three awards at the show in Los Angeles. The band also won in the categories “Best Pop Group” and “Best Pop Song” (for “Butter”). In addition, BTS performed with Coldplay and performed “My Universe”. The fans also celebrated the performance of the BTS hit “Butter”.
In addition to BTS, Doja Cat (26) and Megan Thee Stallion (26) each won three prizes at the American Music Awards. Taylor Swift (31) received two awards. Newcomer Olivia Rodrigo (18), who headed the list with seven nominations in the run-up, went home with a trophy in the end. She won the “Best New Artist” category.
