Lhe rumor has been circulating for some time, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has confirmed that the United States will soon deliver Patriot air defense systems to Kyiv, as part of a new $1.85 billion tranche U.S. aid package for Ukraine announced during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trip to Washington this week.
Washington hesitated for a long time before making this donation, and for good reason: the Patriot will be one of the most technologically advanced weapons ever delivered to Ukraine.
