Veronica Merritt (now 36) became pregnant for the first time at the age of 14. Now the woman from the US metropolis of New York is expecting her twelfth child. She announced this on her Instagram channel over the weekend.
The mother shared a video of the ultrasound scan under the hashtag # 12kids. She announces with great joy that “child number 12 is already on the way – and we are not finished yet”.
First child still in school
In an interview with the “Sun” said the mother at the beginning of the year that she would like “ideally 17 children to complete the family.”
The now twelve-time mother gave birth to their first child at the age of 14. At that time she was still going to school. Meanwhile, their eldest daughter Victoria is 21 years old, the youngest child just one year old.
Despite the many children, she was able to successfully complete high school. Merritt was married to the father of the first two children for some time, but then divorced. Veronica Merritt has a total of seven children with her second husband Marty (37). Two children are from the time between the two marriages.
Followers are happy
For health reasons, she has always avoided hormonal contraceptives, Merritt continues. “Some of the children were planned, but I can’t take the pill because of an illness, for example.” She has now spent eight and a half years pregnant.
