I had lost 8 kg and ended up in Saint-Anne. But for a very short time“.

After her stay in the Parisian psychiatric hospital, Amira Casar had decided to do everything to get back on track. “As I am strong enough, I got up. And I wasn’t gonna let it crush me” she had explained to Augustin Trapenard.

In 2009, she also took real revenge on this past experience. Indeed, she took over the role of Ans in the play Children of Saturn! by Olivier Py, in the same theater that had won him his hospitalization. “I came back to the theatre. Thanks to Olivier Py, I came back to Odéon. I dressed my wounds and I also worked in London.
