Amira Pocher reflects once again on her marriage to Oliver Pocher. She realized early on what was going wrong, but fought.
“Turbulent times” again for Amira Pocher (31). In the new episode of her podcast “Liebes Leben” (exclusively at Podimo) with her brother Hima (33), she naturally talks again about her failed marriage to Oliver Pocher (45). However, this time she does not provide any details. She talks to Hima in a rather abstract way about breakups in general. The reason is an article by a psychologist about the different reactions of men and women to a separation.
Men are more likely to distract themselves and throw themselves into parties, work or sports, the article says. Women are more likely to introspect and think about the failure of the relationship.
It was the same with Amira Pocher. After breaking up with Olli, she “read a lot, about relationships and personality disorders.” Unlike men, women notice earlier when something is wrong with each other, says the moderator.
“Emotionally separated” early on
For her, it started at least a year before the final breakup with Oliver Pocher. “I thought very carefully and for a long time about what could be done,” she says. And: “I have never fought for a relationship for so long as I am now.”
But she became “emotionally separated” early on, as her brother Hima sums it up. Amira Pocher agrees: “I understand what the trigger was, why you fell in love, why you fell out of love or grew apart.” But she doesn’t go into more detail.
But she doesn’t regret her relationship with Oliver Pocher. Ultimately, “two wonderful children were born from it”
“No compromises”: Amira Pocher knows what was missing in the relationship
Amira Pocher knows exactly what went wrong in her marriage to the comedian. She ignored what she was missing in the relationship. But when it comes to some needs, “you can’t make compromises,” she says. Because: “In the long run, you will miss something.”
However, she doesn’t reveal what exactly she was missing with Oliver Pocher. She just hinted that it’s important to her to “do things together.”
Then Amira may spill the beans about her new relationship with Christian Düren (33). She confirmed a liaison with the moderator in the last podcast episode. The Austrian speaks of her ideal in a relationship, the thought: “Wow, I could solve any problem with this person.” She had never experienced this “until recently”.
This is the case with Christian Düren, Hima asks. But Amira Pocher doesn’t allow herself to be led astray. Details are consistently left out of the current episode of “Liebes Leben”.
