Amira Pocher has provided an apartment for a Ukrainian family. Now she reveals how the refugees are doing.
Like several German celebrities, Amira Pocher (29) took in refugees from Ukraine. In an Instagram story, the moderator has now revealedhow the family who fled the war is doing in their apartment.
As part of a question and answer session, a user wanted to know how the refugees in Pocher’s apartment were doing. “You feel very comfortable,” replied the podcaster, who is currently participating in the dance show “Let’s Dance”. The one-and-a-half and three-year-old girls still need some time to process the events.
Amira Pocher is considering hiring psychological support for the family. At least for the kids. “You get everything,” she writes. The girls’ father had to stay in Ukraine. “It’s certainly also difficult for you and the whole family.”
At the beginning of May, Amira Pocher announced that she wanted to take in refugees from Ukraine. The apartment is one that you recently bought and renovated and which was empty.
Oliver Pocher is also committed
Amira’s husband Oliver Pocher (44) is also committed to Ukrainians. The comedian did not take in refugees, but organized the transport of relief supplies to the country attacked by Russia. Pocher was also there himself.
There have recently been some dramatic events for the Pochers privately. On Saturday a man punched Oliver Pocher in the facewhen he sat in the audience at a boxing match. Burglars broke into her housewhile they were present. And last summer’s flood also flooded their home.
