(Boursier.com) — Following its favorable pre-decision, on September 29, the EPA approved the exemption from the maximum residue limit (tolerance exemption) of the amoeba lysate Willaertia magna C2c Maky, corresponding to the regulatory threshold of concentration of residues of pesticide products, beyond which the marketing of a food product is no longer authorized.

Amoeba is still waiting for the final decision relating to the authorization of the biocontrol active substance by the EPA, which should take place before the end of October.
