In the course of a priority action “Drugs about road traffic” several police officers posted themselves on the L202 in Hard on Friday evening. When the 21-year-old, who was stoned, spotted the officers, he made a beeline for a gas station to avoid being checked. However, the police officers were not so easily duped and indicated to the driver to stop. But he had other things in mind: He put the car in reverse, stepped on the gas pedal, hit one of the officers, brushed a police car and then sped away in the direction of Bregenz. During the wild ride, he drove over several red lights at the same time, and he also damaged a lane divider – according to the police, several people were endangered by his frenzy.
