(CercleFinance.com) – Amundi announces today that it is strengthening its commitment to protecting the oceans with the adoption of the Ocean Framework label, developed by the Fondation de la Mer, with the aim of helping companies and investors measure the impact of their activities on marine life.
Amundi, one of the first contributors to the development of the Ocean Framework, used this tool to engage a first circle of companies last year in four key areas (fisheries and aquaculture, hotel energy, maritime freight/ cruises).
In the future, Amundi aims to double the number of companies it engages on the theme of the oceans, in order to encourage them to reduce their negative impacts using specific performance indicators.
