an advisor accused of embezzling her clients’ money

A La Banque Postale advisor is accused of having embezzled 130,000 euros from 16 clients to finance her luxurious lifestyle. She had accessories from prestigious brands at home such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Dior bags.

Her name is Queen. This 41-year-old advisor from La Banque Postale de Grigny (Essonne) is accused of having embezzled more than 130,000 euros from numerous clients over two years, which would have allowed her to lead a luxurious lifestyle, reports The Parisian.

Placed in police custody, she resided with her husband Patrice, an SNCF employee, in a modest home which hid an opulent lifestyle, revealed by the discovery of a range of luxury items including recent iPhones and accessories from prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Dior bags.

Consumer credit scam

The investigation began after similar complaints were filed at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 at the Juvisy police station. The weary customers had all taken out consumer loans recommended by Reine, before losing all trace of their money. The investigation revealed that Reine systematically registered customers for these credits, with or without their consent, and highlighted a fraudulent scheme where customers’ money was paid into accounts unknown to them, but controlled by Reine or her surroundings.

The deception was discovered when police seized luxury goods worth 60,000 euros from the couple, revealing a standard of living inconsistent with their official income. Queen denies the accusations. 16 customers of the bank in this disadvantaged town are said to have been victims of his actions.
