Marvel’s Wolverine is still in development after its announcement in 2021. A period of time that might seem long, but which is not at all abnormal. Especially since there, and even if there will surely be strong similarities with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games is starting from a blank page. News on Marvel’s Wolverine in due time
Marvel’s Wolverine is one of the most anticipated games of the generation for all Marvel fans. Many people dream of a game with exhilarating, brutal and bloody gameplay, and that is what Insomniac Games should offer them in the coming years. Because, yes, the game would still be far from ready, even if a non-final version has already been the victim of leaks. Indeed, following a cyberattack, very sensitive studio data was exposed for all to see, including numerous details, images and videos on Marvel’s Wolverine. In response to this, and after taking some time to digest, Insomniac Games had this to say.
“Development of Marvel’s Wolverine continues as we have planned. The game is at the start of production and it is certain that it will evolve considerably throughout its development, like all our projects. While we appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm, we will share official information on Marvel’s Wolverine with you when the time is right.”. A clear message… which did not prevent an Internet user from becoming impatient.
A tweeter therefore sent the following message to the PlayStation studio. “News from Wolverine if he comesWe like it” with a gif of the superhero ready to fight. Insomniac could have ignored this umpteenth request, but responded anyway. “We will share news [sur Marvel’s Wolverine] when the time is right, and it is not now”. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the fathers of Ratchet & Clank have had to face pressure from the web… and must systematically provide a similar response. This already happened with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If the internal leaks are up to date, Marvel’s Wolverine could arrive by the end of 2026 exclusively on PS5.
