Three checks covering cleaning costs, damage and delay

Thanks to this amount, elected municipal officials are therefore guaranteed to be able to cover any additional costs caused by the behavior of certain people invited by the bride and groom. Concretely, couples will have to pay three checks in the month preceding their union: 500 euros for potential damage in the wedding hall, 400 euro for everything more than 30 minutes late future spouses and/or their guests (or cancelation of the ceremony less than 48 hours before) and, finally, 100 euros for the additional cleaning fee, after the celebration. What put, in short, a certain financial pressure on spouses passing the ring on their finger. “We must recognize that financial leverage is a leverage that often works”concluded the municipality of Pontoise.
