There are races where nothing goes and for Alberto Nonino it happened last weekend near Cali in Colombia, for one of the most important events of his season. Participating in the World Junior Athletics Championships, the young 18-year-old athlete experienced a very strange end to the competition. A decathlete, he is taking part in the 400m, which is the last event of the day, but the race is not going to go at all as he had planned… Unfortunately for him, the scene was captured by the cameras and if the beginning of the race seems to be going rather well, the rest is much more complicated.
As you can see in the images, Alberto Nonino does not have a normal stride and you quickly feel that something is bothering him during his strides. The problem ? His penis is getting lost and the young Italian tries somehow to put it back in his shorts! A very disabling setback for the athlete who will have to try several times before succeeding in putting away his penis and which will obviously cause him to lose the race. Good last, the latter was still able to keep a smile at the end. “I try to laugh about it now, but immediately afterwards, I felt very bad and I’m grateful to my friends and family for helping me get through what happened a few hours later.”he said after the race.

Finishing the race with a very average time of 51.57 seconds, Alberto Nonino was obviously not very happy with his performance, even though it quickly made the rounds on social media. “I am aware that it was an accident and I would like to tell you that you don’t need to send me the links to the blogs that exist”said the Italian, probably tired that we have only been talking to him about this for several days now.
