An average rent overrun of 159 euros per month was noted on 490 formal notices after one year of control of rent control by the town hall in Paris, the representative elected officials indicated on Tuesday.

Among the 104 cases regularized in the capital, the average amount of overpayments was around 2,300 euros. These regularized files represent 11% of the approximately 950 files currently being studied, out of more than 1,600 reports received after a year on the town hall platform.
