According to their research, the three most trendy mixed first names at the moment in England are: Charlie, Chosen And Ocean. “We’re seeing an increase in gender-neutral names, or names that people use for both genders,” explains Sophie Kihm, editor-in-chief of the Nameberry site. “It’s about a significant change since the 20th century. Previously, these names evolved in one direction: a boy’s name was adopted by girls, then it became a girl’s name and everyone abandoned it for their son.
