A 49-year-old was injured in a traffic accident in Zell am See on Wednesday afternoon. He drove his car into the oncoming lane and collided with a tractor.
For reasons that are still unclear, the 49-year-old driver drove his car into the opposite lane on Thumersbacher Landesstraße on Wednesday early afternoon. There he collided with an oncoming tractor driven by a 31-year-old from Pinzgau. The local driver could only be rescued with the help of the fire department. The rescue took him to the Tauern Clinic in Zell am See with injuries of an unspecified degree. The tractor driver remained uninjured. Thumersbacher Landesstraße had to be completely closed for the clean-up work.
