This decision follows an internal investigation opened last April after the testimony of Clémentine Sarlat, former co-presenter of the show Stade 2.

"These decisions were taken following the findings of the internal investigation carried out after testimony made public (…) reporting acts of harassment and sexist comments ”, said France Télévisions, requested by Agence France-Presse (AFP). It is thus three employees of the sports department of France Televisions who will be dismissed, warned the audiovisual group.

The survey was launched in April after the publication, in The team, from the testimony of Clémentine Sarlat, former co-presenter of the program Stade 2, who now works in the podcast after having also worked at TF1.

"I was going to Stage 2 crying. No one spoke to me in preparation for the show. They put me in a separate office away from the editors ", and "I felt like a stab in the back ", the journalist told the sports daily, explaining that she was put aside after returning from maternity leave.

"In May 2017, before my maternity leave, the sports directorate told me that I was going to co-present Stade 2 with Matthieu Lartot. In reality, it was com. We just had to announce a presenter. When I return, in January 2018, I was told: 'Because of the lights and the cameras, you will not be able to be next to Matthieu.' I was no longer a co-presenter, she added.

The TV station has had to deal with several cases of sexual or moral harassment since the #MeToo movement emerged almost three years ago. The latter claims to apply "with the utmost rigor the principle of zero tolerance in the face of any form of harassment, sexist or discriminatory remarks".

Delphine Ernotte, the president of France Télévisions, had promised to set up an action plan, such as training on "prevention of inappropriate behavior".
