An investigation opened after the desecration of graves in the South West of France


PARIS, May 18 (Reuters) – An investigation has been opened after the desecration of several graves in the cemetery of Noé (Haute-Garonne), announced the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin.
“I condemn in the strongest terms these acts of vandalism in a Christian and Jewish cemetery. An investigation has been opened and entrusted to the gendarmerie”, wrote the minister on Twitter.

According to France Bleu, the steles of six tombs, four Christian and two Jewish, were degraded and no inscription was found. (Written by Nicolas Delame, edited by Blandine Hénault)
