A little by surprise we were able during the Game Awards ceremony to discover a certain Transformers Reactivate.
Transformers Reactivate was in the lot of the famous World Premiere of the Game Awards 2022. As you can imagine from its title, it is an action game from the world of famous mechas. Everything is developed by Splash Damage and it should be a cooperative game for up to 4 players. Way Warhammer 40,000 darktide to name just the most recent entry into the field.
Transformers Reactivate, a new dive into the universe of the saga
The game Transformers Reactivate should offer a new story in the license and besides the fact that it is a cooperative game, we know almost nothing. The trailer above shows a ruined city and several people. Richard Jolly, CEO of Splash Damage explains:
When you grew up with the TRANSFORMERS G1 in the 80s, it inevitably leaves its mark. It is both an honor and a privilege to work on such a beloved series. People have been waiting for a new TRANSFORMERS game on PC and consoles for a long time, and we intend to offer them a game that lives up to their expectations..
The press release on the subject nevertheless states:

We clearly seem to be in a post-apo universe, since one of the visuals reveals the Statue of Liberty in ruins. T Transformers Reactivate will be available on PC and consoles with a closed beta version scheduled for 2023. Of course, we can’t wait to learn a little more about it.
