The second season of “And Just Like That…” has been running on the Wow streaming service since June 2023. For many viewers, since the first episodes were broadcast, there has only been one topic: the long-awaited return of series favorite Aidan!

After Carrie emails her ex-boyfriend Aidan, played by John Corbett, the two meet for Valentine’s Day. Carrie and Aidan hit it off right away, as if it hadn’t been a long time since they last met. The meeting ends with a passionate kiss between them, giving hope for a love comeback!

How likely is a happy ending for Carrie and Aidan?

Many fans of the cult series “Sex and the City” and the revival “And Just Like That…” remain big fans of Aidan and Carrie. In the series “Sex and the City” they were even engaged until Carrie finally decided on Mr. Big. With Carrie now a widower and Aidan divorced, there’s nothing to stop their relationship rekindling.

The long-awaited happy ending between the two has already been stimulated with promising pictures. In it, Carrie is photographed hugging and kissing with her ex-fiancé, Aidan. The caption then hints at the series: “And just like that, Carrie is back on her toes.” (“And just like that Carrie is back on her tip toes.”)

This series of romantic pictures were posted to Sarah Jessica Parker’s Instagram accounts and HBO’s official “And Just Like That” Instagram account, hinting at a flare-up in their relationship and sending fans into a frenzy. “Some things are better left in the past. But maybe not everything,” says the new trailer before we catch sight of Aidan. This, too, could indicate that the old love between Carrie and Aidan hasn’t quite died out in season 2.

Whether Carrie will get a second chance with Aidan in Season 2 of “And Just Like That…” remains to be seen. But we think it’s very likely, since the two already looked inseparable during their romantic meeting!

The second season of “And Just Like That…” will be released on the US streaming service HBO Max. In Germany you can watch the sequel on Sky and Wow since June 2023, and a new episode will appear every Thursday from 9 a.m.
