Filming for the third season of “And Just Like That…” is currently underway in New York. And what would a series with “Sex and the City” vibes be without extravagant outfits from Carrie Bradshaw? Current photos from the set show that things will be wildly fashionable in the new episodes. Lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 59, can be seen in a special look.
An unusual dress and an even more unusual headgear
In a scene with her colleague Sarita Choudhury, 57, the US actress can be seen in a medieval-looking dress. The two colleagues are in a good mood enjoying an ice cream in the bright weather. But the headgear chosen to go with it literally puts the crown on the outfit of Parker’s role as Carrie Bradshaw: a voluminous fabric hat with a beige-brown check pattern sits enthroned over the striped maxi dress. She also enthusiastically posted a photo of this fashion statement on Instagram.
Filming for the new episodes of the “Sex and the City” spin-off began at the beginning of May. The three leading actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, 58, and Kristin Davis, 59, shared photos of their scripts on Instagram. Not much is known about the third season of “And Just Like That…” yet. Except it gets “complicated.”
Fans of “And Just Like That…” can apparently look forward to new, exciting storylines when the new episodes start. During an appearance on the talk show “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” Sarah Jessica Parker talked about filming the third season. “It just feels really nice. It’s going to be multi-layered and complex and complicated, as always – especially in Carrie’s life.” The new season has a very special quality.
When will the new season air?
In addition to Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, Anthony (Mario Cantone, 64), Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker, 53), Seema (Sarita Choudhury, 57) and Lisette (Katerina Tannenbaum) will also be seen again in the series. Karen Pittman, 37, who played Miranda’s professor and eventual friend Nya Wallace, announced in March that she would not be returning for the third season. Sara Ramírez, 48, alias Che Diaz, will also no longer be there. Rosie O’Donnell, 62, will get a role for this. The third season of “And Just Like That…” is expected to air in 2025.
