The reactions to the first “Sex and the City” trailer revolve primarily around the person who is not in it: Samantha.

The first long trailer for “And Just Like That …” Above all, triggered one thing in the fans: Longing for the only figure who cannot be seen in it.

As everyone should know by now, Kim Cattrall (65) alias Samantha Jones is not part of the “Sex and the City” sequel. And as always, the person who is missing from the party is talked about the most.

Fans mourn Samantha

On twitter the users mourn: “‘Sex and the City’ is not the same without Samantha” or “There can be no ‘Sex and the City’ without Samantha” and “We already miss Samantha.” Elsewhere it says: “I sulk a little because Samantha isn’t there, I’ve always adored her. But I still won’t be able to watch it.” Some are very much against it: “The ‘Sex and the City’ reboot looks good, but I refuse to see it without Samantha. I don’t care, I don’t care”.

Warning spoilers: This is what happens to Samantha

What will happen to the popular character in the series has not yet been officially spoiled – but unofficially it has. As the “Daily Mail” claims to have found out, Samantha moved to London after falling out with Carrie. The insider also reported that the creators of Cattrall are keeping a door open so that they can perhaps complete the cast in one of the next seasons. “Carrie is the one who fell out with Samantha and at the end of ‘And Just Like That …’ we see Carrie making her an offer of peace and trying to rekindle the friendship.”

The new series “And Just Like That …” will be aired on December 9th on Sky Comedy and the streaming service Sky Ticket. At the start there is a double episode, the other eight episodes are always shown on Thursdays.
