Like every year in July, the site Emojipedia reveals the most popular small pictograms of recent months. Several sections are thus represented. In particular, we find the emoji that best represents 2022, the one that is most desired or the one that has simply been used the most. And this is where we will start.
It is therefore the face holding back tears that rises to first place among the new emojis most shared by Internet users in 2022. It is followed by the hands forming a heart, the melting face (which will be illustrated a little later ), the one who looks furtively and finally the one at attention.

Now let’s move on to the emoji that is supposed to represent the year 2022. This one was named the winner by users after an almost two-week social media tournament. The valiant red heart has meanwhile received a special mention since it has been massively used by Internet users since the very creation of emojis (or almost). Finally, a small survey aimed at listing the most anticipated symbols was also given pride of place. The pink heart won 38.1% of the vote, which allowed it to win the gold medal. The trembling face, the light blue heart, the goose and the black bird follow him in that order.
