35 years after his first and 18 years after his last number one hit in Germany, Thomas Anders (57, "Etern mit dir") is again at the top of the charts. "The album" with Florian Silbereisen (38) makes it off the cuff to number one on the German album charts. On Instagram, the two shared their joy about the sensational success: Silbereisen said that they were "overjoyed", Anders was "overwhelmed".
Was Helene Fischer the inspiration?
The duo celebrated spontaneous successes with the two pre-singles "She said she loves me" in 2018 and the "She did it again" release a few months later. Anders and Silbereisen producer Christian Geller quickly got on board with whom they recorded "Das Album".
The disc is themed in classic hit manner about the topic of (disappointed) love. This should be of particular interest to some of the fans of hit icon Helene Fischer (35, "Breathless through the night"), after all, she was in love with Silbereisen until the end of 2018. The two were considered the dream couple of the hit industry, in 2019 there was a tearful reunion live on TV one year after their separation. Fischer is now with Thomas Seitel (35).
