Andor (Disney +): first trailer, postponed release … Find out the launch date of the Star Wars series

The teaser from the new series from the Star Wars universe, created by the animation studios and LucasFilmshad its small effect, to the delight of fans who are waiting for this spin-off of Rogue One, released in 2016, which seems to be late in coming out. Andor on Disney +: a release postponed for several weeks

For young Cassian Andor, it’s time for rebellion, against an Empire that is ever more restrictive and imposing new laws. Cassian Andor will be one of the centerpieces and to prepare for this uprising he will be surrounded by mythical characters, such as Saw Gerrera, played again by Forest Whitaker returning to a series in the Star Wars franchise. But the main actor of the series will be Diego Lunawell known for his role in Narcos, who will play Cassian Andor.

Superb trailer, exceptional cast, but the release was postponed and it was the unpleasant surprise that the fans feared. Indeed, while the first episode was to be released on August 31, the trailer revealed the date of September 21, 2022. But there is necessarily a counterpart to this discrepancy: the first three episodes will be unveiled on the same day. Undoubtedly a way of marking the ground, in the face of weighty exits from the competitors of the Disney + channel : indeed, OCS comes out House of the Dragon on August 22 and Prime Video The Lord of the Rings – The Rings of Power on September 2, which were likely to overshadow this long-awaited spin-off.
