Andrea Bocelli :startor gives corona researchers his blood

Andrea Bocelli (61, "Si Forever") raised hope with his Easter concert in April this year. His appearance in and in front of the empty Milan Cathedral in times of the Corona crisis went around the world. The Italian starter has now made public that he and members of his family have been affected by the corona virus, "if only slightly". By the end of March, all sufferers had recovered.

The singer announced via Facebook that he would make his blood available to research. With the help of these and many other donations, "a cure" for the Covid-19 disease caused by the coronavirus is to be found. The 61-year-old dubbed his blood donation a "humble but basic gesture" that could help "a small part" to fight the pandemic.
