Ex-Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer is looking forward to the next generation. In the fall he will be a father again, as he now reveals to “Bild”.

Former Federal Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer (48, CSU) is expecting offspring. As reported by the “Bild” newspaper, his wife Julia (40) is pregnant with the couple’s first child together. The CSU politician confirmed rumors to the newspaper: “Yes, we are expecting children in the fall. We are very happy.” For Scheuer it is the second child. He has a ten-year-old daughter from his second marriage.

Andreas Scheuer has been married for the third time since 2021

In August 2021, the then Federal Minister of Transport and his partner Julia Reuss said yes. “Yes, we got married,” he told the magazine “Bunte” at the time. He added: “We are very happy and look forward to our future together.”

According to the report, Scheuer and Reuss wanted to get married in 2020, but had to postpone the wedding because of Corona. For Scheuer it is the third marriage. The first is said to have been divorced in 2011. His second marriage ended after five years in 2018.

Scheuer has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002

Andreas Scheuer, who comes from Passau, has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002. From March 2018 to December 2021 he was Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. Previously, he worked, among other things, as General Secretary of the CSU.
