Hollywood star Andrew Garfield has announced that he is taking a break. He wants to be “a little ordinary”.

Andrew Garfield (38) says goodbye to Hollywood – at least for the time being. “I’ll rest a little”, the actor explains in an interview with the industry magazine “Variety”. Garfield, best known for being one of the Spider-Man cast members, also shares why he needs this break.

“I have to recalibrate and think about what I want to do next, who I want to be and just be human for a while,” Garfield said.

“I need to be a little ordinary for a while”

The busy actor was recently seen in the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. He was also recognized for his role in “Tick, Tick… Boom!” nominated for an Oscar for best actor. Here he was inferior to Will Smith (53, “King Richard”), but Garfield was able to win a Golden Globe for it in January. Garfield is currently starring in Under the Banner of Heaven. The series has just started in the USA, and in Germany it will soon be shown on Disney+ as “Murder on God’s behalf”.

So after all the hustle and bustle, the actor first needs to figure out his future and switch off for a while: “I need to be a little ordinary for a while.”
