Andrew Lloyd Webber: Participation in Corona Vaccine Test

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber took part in a corona vaccine test at Oxford University – all for the love of the stage.

The British star composer Andrew Lloyd Webber (72), who is best known for musicals such as "Cats" or "Evita", wants to do everything possible to save the world's stages. "Just finished the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine test," writes Webber on Twitter. He also posted a picture that shows him with a face mask. Apparently the picture was taken shortly before he got an injection. The composer explains: "I would do anything to get theaters large and small and actors and musicians back to work."

A possible vaccine against the coronavirus has been researched for several months at Oxford University in the UK. The first subjects were vaccinated in April. Ursula von der Leyen (61), President of the European Commission, announced on August 14ththat the EU Commission wants to buy up to 400 million doses of a future vaccine from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca involved in the project.
