It is currently the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G to receive the update to Android 12, the latest version of Google’s OS. The rollout of this version began in fall 2021, first on Pixel models. Other smartphone brands were then able to get started, including Samsung, which started with the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 10 range.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro also received the update to OxygenOS 12, despite numerous bugs at the start, resolved by the release of a patch. Oppo, Realme and Sony smartphones will also benefit from Android 12 over the next few months.

One UI 4 for Galaxy A52 5G

The deployment of One UI 4 (Android 12) had already started in early January for some Galaxy A52 5G users, particularly in Russia and Spain. Some French users had also started receiving this update on unlocked smartphones from January 15. It is now the turn of the Americans to see this Update land on their Galaxy.

As in Europe, it is phones purchased outside the carriers that can receive the upgrade. If this new version is welcome, it should be noted that it does not fundamentally change the experience compared to One UI 3. It adds the new options brought by Android 12 such as the adaptation of the colors of the interface to the background screen.

After Android 12, the Galaxy A52 5G will be able to receive two more Android system updates.
