- Google isn’t the only company working on Android 13. Xiaomi is also said to be working on the upcoming OS.
- As soon as the first beta of the OS is released by Google, the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro should get it.
- However, there is currently no exact date for the first beta and the final version.
Only a developer preview of Android 13 is currently available. The first public beta should appear in the next few weeks, but there is no exact date yet. But not only Google, but also Xiaomi should already be intensively involved with the new operating system.
As the technology blog XiaomiMIUI reports, the leaker DCS (Digital Chat Station) is said to have revealed in the Chinese short message service Weibo that Xiaomi is already working on an Android 13-based user interface.
As soon as Google’s first public beta appears, the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro could receive the new operating system including the new user interface as a test version.
Android 13 is rumored to include features like sharper emojis, optimized notification permissions, and Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth Low Energy Audio).
