Just as Apple now offers since iOS 16, Android 14 will allow users to further modify their lock screen. It will thus be possible for users to modify the type of dial displayed. Users will also be able to integrate shortcuts to their most frequently used applications.
Wallpapers based on emojis
Another customization offered on Android 14, emoji wallpapers. Concretely, users can choose not one image as a wallpaper, but several emojis. Android 14 will then generate a wallpaper based on these emojis, but also on the layout chosen by the user or by the color of the wallpaper

Finally, Google will also allow users to generate “cinematic wallpapers”. Based on a photo, they will be able to generate a 3D effect with visible parallax when users tilt their smartphone.

Android 14 will also be able to use artificial intelligence to generate original wallpapers. However, this feature will be rolled out later this year, sometime in the fall.
