Big day at Android yesterday. First of all, Google has rolled out the second version of the Android 15 Developer Preview, bringing it a little closer to the official release date. At Samsung, we finally broke down by adopting rapid updates, which have been available among the competition for several years. Meanwhile, Tesla is crashing the second-hand market on its Cybertruck.
Here’s everything new in Android 15 Developer Preview 2
Android 15 continues on its merry way before its global deployment. It is now time for users with access to it to discover Developer Preview 2, which brings a number of new features. Among them, we especially find the arrival of satellite communications, which will make it possible to send SMS, MMS and RCS messages via this means with the next update. Note also some security and HDR mode management adjustments.

The Cybertruck has never been so affordable second-hand
This was to be expected. Tesla’s drastic measures, which prevent drivers from reselling their Cybertruck under penalty of a heavy fine, have completely brought down the second-hand market for its pick-up. The latter can now be found from $171,000, a price much lower than what we could find at the height of the speculation period. Supply is simply outstripping demand.

Samsung finally embraces fast Android updates
And it’s not on the smartphone that you think. Indeed, it is the Galaxy A55 which will first benefit from this functionality which has existed for 8 years with other manufacturers. As a reminder, Seamless Updates allows you to download updates in the background, so you can continue to use your smartphone during installation. You will just need to restart it to complete the process.
