When installing new apps, you will often be asked if you want to grant the selected permissions. Most users click “Accept” carelessly, without carefully reading through the rules and requirements for the app. Especially with supposedly free applications, root authorizations can quickly creep in, which can penetrate deeply into the system.
In this way, sensitive data may reach the manufacturers of the Android applications. So make sure during installation that the app only wants the permissions it really needs. For example, if a weather app asks for camera access and calls, alarm bells should be ringing.
