Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz: They could soon be standing in front of the camera together

Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz are supposed to shoot together for the book adaptation "Every Note Played" and play an ex-couple.

A dream duo for the big screen: Angelina Jolie (45, "Maleficent") and Christoph Waltz (64, "Inglourious Basterds") are to take on the leading roles in the film adaptation of Lisa Genova's book "Every Note Played" (2018) US industry portal "Variety" reports.

Jolie is slated for the role of Karina, the ex-wife of a concert pianist named Richard (Waltz). He has suffered many losses, including being estranged from his daughter when he was diagnosed with ALS. When the nervous disease worsens and Richard can no longer play the piano or live alone, Karina reluctantly steps in to be his caregiver. STX Films has acquired the global rights to the film. Michael Sucsy (47, "The Vow") will direct.

Christoph Waltz will next be seen in Wes Anderson's (51) "The French Dispatch", from April 2, 2021 he will return as Blofeld in "James Bond: No Time to Die". Angelina Jolie will appear in the Marvel film "The Eternals" (November 2021).
