The Supreme Court has denied Angelina Jolie's petition against Brad Pitt in the divorce war.
Angelina Jolie (45, "Crazy") suffered a setback in the divorce war against Brad Pitt (56, "Fight Club"): Her request to replace private judge John W. Ouderkirk for bias was rejected by the California Supreme Court. Jolie's attorneys expressed concern that Ouderkirk would not judge fairly over business relationships with Pitt's attorney. For Pitt's lawyers, this is just a delaying tactic to prevent the final decision in the now four-year divorce dispute. A source close to the ex-couple told the Daily Mail that the judge was originally brought into the case by Jolie's team. Jolie is said to have previously agreed to keep Oudierkirk in the process three times.
In addition, both sides, Jolie and Pitt, have a long-standing relationship with the judge – in 2014 they personally selected him to conduct their marriage.
