After The Lion King currently at the Théâtre Mogador, it’s another musical, al Caponewhich could well be a hit in 2023. Indeed, with a cast of choice in the presence of the lyrical tenor Roberto Alagna who will perform for the first time in a musical and the singer Anggun (currently in Mask Singer), this show about the life of the famous Chicago gangster of the 20s will undoubtedly be one of the shows to see next year. For the presentation, the actors were very elegant in period outfits. The lyrical singer wore a dark striped suit paired with a pink tie and white pocket square. He had been made up to mimic the scars of the Chicago killer. Anggun looked stunning in a black dress.

Roberto Alagna, 58, will play the kingpin of the sale of weapons and alcohol while Bruno Pelletier will slip into the skin of Elliot Ness, the agent who fought to bring down the famous gangster. Anggun will be Lili, Al Capone’s mistress and Kaïna Blada, Rita, the criminal’s sister. The comedy will also focus on the romantic relationship between Elliot Ness and one of Al Capone’s sisters. This iconic character in American history and crime owes his reputation to his unspeakable cruelty. Nicknamed Scarface, he was capable of orchestrating robberies or executions with great coldness. Never condemned for his violence, the bandit finally fell for the motive of tax evasion, which will lead him to the famous prison of Alcatraz.

The musical show will be played from January 28 to May 12, 2023 at the Folies Bergère.
