What was the atmosphere like last summer during the filming of this new season?
Anggun: It was really nice to meet the friends! And that’s what makes a warm television show, it’s the understanding that exists between those who make it. The viewer primarily watches the singers, but he is also attentive to the atmosphere in the team.
Which investigator do you think you are?
When it is necessary to recognize singers, I manage to pick up intonations, to recognize voices. But when it comes to actors, sportsmen or politicians, I’m completely on the street… My fellow investigators often make fun of me.
Are you saying there’s a political figure behind the costumes this season?
But you know that in the American version of the show, there were several! In France, you are very serious… However, the success of the program proves that in France you also like to have fun!
Has a personality marked you this season?
I cannot, of course, not quote it but seeing it, I burst into tears so much I adore it. I was so touched that the character she represented was that person!
What do you think of the work done on the costumes of the show ?
Hands of gold make them! Some costumes took six months to be made, undone and redone! I liked the Hermit Crab, the Chameleon too. Kids love it. My daughter and her friends have been looking forward to the show. It’s a real family entertainment that I knew very well, because it’s a great success in all Asian countries.
Doesn’t the show have the advantage of making accessible the personalities who lend themselves to the game?
Yes ! This or that personality may seem distant or haughty. But she can very well appear sympathetic by appearing there. Mask Singer humanizes the personalities who participate in it.
What role will you play in the musical al Capone with Roberto Alagna and Bruno Pelletier which will be performed at the Folies Bergère, in Paris, from January 2023?
A musical is a first for me! I play Lili, the woman who thrills Al Capone. It will be a jazz atmosphere, sometimes pop, and even “operatic”!
