And it is, not without irony, that we are going to reveal to you why this is an excellent time to spend in the company of your favorite inhabitants, far ahead of the Halloween party or the Day of the Gifts. Here are 3 reasons not to miss Easter 2022 on your favorite game.
Albin, the most beautiful of rabbits
When you see the cute face of Alix or Kristine, it’s true that it’s hard to imagine how a rabbit could fit into the top 10 of the ugliest inhabitants of the game. Albin, for his part, is probably at the top of ACNH’s list of the best big-eared animals and that’s why this is one of the players’ favorite NPCs, ahead of Celeste.
Jokes aside, we know that Albin is the unloved of this game, but let’s focus on his design and his role for two minutes. It appears for the first time on the opus Wii: Animal Crossing Let’s Go to the City, for the Egg Festival, and will return in all the other titles of the franchise thereafter. A great mystery surrounds Albin and that is what is fascinating about him: is he a real rabbit, a bunny wearing a bunny costume or another inhabitant who wears a costume?
With her zipper on the back of his outfitthe fact that he almost never blinks and the fact that he is out of breath after a few dance steps, many Internet users have imagined that, behind the mask, is Tortimer, the former mayor of Wild World. A theory that does not seem so far-fetched when you know that the old turtle likes to dress up (Cornimer) and that she is back on New Horizons thanks to the 2.0 update. It remains to be seen how Tortimer could make the round trip so quickly between Joe’s island and our island.
Many more eggs on the game than in your garden
Well, of course, they are not chocolate but Albin will have the merit of hiding a ton of different eggs on your island. What to diversify the research and not to get too tired. Especially since Nintendo has made the effort to reduce the spawn rate of eggs in the water, no longer spoiling the fun of catching real fish. We are, even if the egg festival has long traumatized us, it has become a rather pleasant event over the years. And, nothing forces you to endure it all week: you just have to avoid digging up all the holes on your island if you want to avoid being frustrated.
Because, anyway, there are no more updates
It’s very sad but it’s true. If you cherish, like me, Animal Crossing New Horizons, you know that no more updates are planned on the game. And there is no point in hoping for the expansion of the Nook Shop or the addition of work at Cafe Robusto. Let’s admit that the free update 2.0 will have already made the game much more complete. From now on, we must be content with all this beautiful content and do not hesitate to redo the events of the past. After all, the Egg Festival isn’t such a bad event. Admittedly, Albin is scary with his costume (we really wonder who could be behind it) but it is still very nice to offer us content for a full week.
In case you haven’t noticed, this article was obviously ironic. The Egg Festival is probably the event that players hate the most, even since it was updated with the new furniture. Still, this furniture in question from 2021 is absolutely gorgeous, and the main reason players don’t like this holiday is probably because it comes right after the cherry blossoms (way too short of a time). ).
