It’s been more than two years now since Animal Crossing New Horizons was released on the Nintendo Switch, much to the delight of fans. And although the title will never receive a big update again, forgetting these superb features from previous games, many players may have missed out on the new features added to the game last year. Maybe you are only discovering ACNH today and that is why we are offering you 5 things not to miss in this month of November 2022. Note that the 2.0 update and the Happy Home Paradise DLC will celebrate their first anniversary!
The new fish and insects
November is synonymous with the appearance of new fish and insects, as well as sea creatures.
- Scorpion Fragment: Until November 22
- Sagittarius Fragment: November 23 to December 21
Pine Cones, Acorns and Cornimer
This isn’t new, but it’s important to know that throughout November, you can keep shaking trees for acorns and pine cones just like visiting Cornimer on Joe’s Island! It is very important to talk to him every day because he will give you extra acorns!
The mushrooms
There are 5 types of Mushrooms in Animal Crossing New Horizons that appear on November 1 in the Northern Hemisphere:
- flat mushrooms,
- lean mushrooms,
- round mushrooms,
- elegant mushrooms,
- Rare mushrooms (truffles).
The Maple Leaves
Please note that the sheets are only available from November 16 to 26 in the Northern Hemisphere (and from May 16 to 26 in the Southern Hemisphere). It will therefore be necessary to collect enough to make all the furniture in the collection.
To get a Maple Leaf, all you have to do is take a good look around you while you wander around your island. At any time, you may come across a flying red leaf. Take out your net and catch her like a bug! Be careful, if you touch it with the net but you miss it, the leaf will disappear.
Sharing Day with Dindou
Celebrating Thanksgiving, the Fête du Partage is one of ACNH’s best events and invites you to help Dindou le Dindon cook delicious meals on November 24. In exchange for your help, you will of course get unique rewards to decorate your island. Thanks to the 2021 update, you can now even learn exclusive recipes!
Nook Friday
This event is new added in the 2021 Update 2.0! Just like Black Friday in real life, the Nook Store will offer you great promotions. Nook Friday allows you, from November 26 to 30, to get -30% on all items in the Shop. Please note, this does not take effect on the Nook Shopping catalog or at the Fairy Fingers Sisters. Take the opportunity to buy the items you are missing from Sharing Day at a discount.
The 2 seasonal items not to miss
Here are all the items you can collect via the Nookstop terminal of the Residents’ Office. Just go to the Nook Shopping and then to the “Temporary Items” tab using the L and R buttons on your joycons. Once the object has been purchased, you will receive it the next day by post. Be careful, you have a limited time to recover these objects related to the Children’s Day.
