Animal Crossing: The worst punchlines of the inhabitants

If the Animal Crossing New Horizons madness of 2020 is now a little over, we must not forget that thousands of players around the world continue every day to chat with their favorite inhabitants on their desert island, to collect vegetables to cook them or still trying to complete 100% of the Art Gallery with the Works of Rounard. And if we thought that this rogue was the worst NPC in the game with these sometimes unworthy remarks, we were greatly mistaken. Some villagers sometimes have mind-blowing discussions that often make you laugh or… scare. This of course depends on the character of the animals (Sloth, Chic or Big Sister for example) but also, and above all, on the signature phrase you asked him to say after increasing his friendship with him.

Animal Crossing: When the locals go too far in their words

That’s what happened to Ultia recently with the adorable Rougepif, one of the players’ favorite inhabitants. Since the 2.0 update last November, animals can now invite themselves into your humble abode to visit you like in the old games. On site, the animal can then ogle your pretty furniture and, in the case of the cat with the red nose, it is the nostalgia baseball chair that caught his eye. Very cute one might say! But nay.

This is what Rougepif then said to Ultia:

Character Jock, Rougepif was obviously talking here about his dumbbells that he constantly lifts to build his legs. You had to have a bad mind to understand something else, but let’s admit that the situation was rather hilarious.

Selection of other inhabitants’ punchlines

Ultia is of course not the only one to know this kind of inconvenience on the game. Other Internet users have taken advantage of his tweet to share their misadventures as well. We find, among others, Arnold (another Sportsman) who yells “pick me up”, Roswell who asks the player if he took a shower (nice…) or Tony who announces that it’s “too early for that” to the content creator FluffyLife. (scroll down the replies below the tweet to view them all! Some are so daring that we didn’t want to put them directly here.)

Thanks to the French translation team of ACNH in any case for making us laugh so much (especially on puns when catching fish/insects/sea creatures).

Did you dream of a Disney game with life simulation, decoration and adventure? It does exist now and it’s called Disney Dreamlight Valley!
