A 56-year-old motorcyclist from Salzburg collided with a hind on Tuesday morning in the Upper Styrian Schöderberg (Murau district) south of the Niedere Tauern. The driver was taken to the hospital. The animal died.
At around 9:50 a.m., the 56-year-old from the Zell am See district in Salzburg was on his motorbike on the Kuensten road in Schöderberg in the direction of Schöder. Suddenly a hind changed lanes right in front of him. The biker could no longer prevent the collision.Hirschkuh lay dead in the creek bedThe motorcycle driver fell and was injured. Subsequent car drivers provided first aid and notified the rescue services. After the first aid, the 56-year-old was admitted to the LKH Tamsweg. The hind was found dead in the creek bed of the art stream.
